Volunteer Opportunities

United Way of Hancock County helps people of all ages find meaningful volunteer opportunities across our community. Opportunities are divided into categories so it's easy to find a need that suits your talents, goals and availability.

Youth and Families

If you are a high school or middle school student, or if you're looking to volunteer as a family, look for a description containing the words "Youth Volunteers" or "Family Friendly." Some volunteering opportunities are available for teens, and children may be welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Our Goal

Volunteers United strives to be a hub for volunteering in the community — a one-stop shop where we can match you with an opportunity that best fits your goals, skills and passions.

If you are interested or have questions about any of the volunteering opportunities below, please register with our volunteer center, Volunteers United. Our volunteer director will connect with you to answer any questions and to help find the best match for your interests.
